# How to approve your Digbee ESG submission for scoring

## This video walkthrough demonstrates how mining companies internally approve their ESG submission before Digbee begins the assessment

When the submission is in 'Approval Pending' status, the ESG questions are still editable, as your Approver may have changes they wish to make.

When the Approver is happy with all answers in the submission and no further edits are required, the Approver must login and navigate to the 'Approve' page. The Approver must agree to the Declaration, appoint a point of contact person and click on 'Approve and Submit for scoring'. 

Upon clicking 'Approve and Submit for scoring' your ESG submission team is notified, the submission is locked to edits and is sent off to the assessors for scoring.
